Jamaica Energy Supports Educational Cause by Partnering with Universities

Jamaica Energy Partners (JEP) has partnered with local schools and Universities with an aim to provide education to the less fortunate. The company feels they are a part of the society and need to strengthen its pillars; they are doing so by education children.

With its partnership with educational institutions the company offers scholarships to secondary- and tertiary-level students based on their academic performance. They have partnered with Caribbean Maritime Institute, University of the West Indies, University of Technology and HEART Training Institute to provide skill training to students. The organization has adopted Blackwood Garden Basic School in Old Harbour Bay to which it provides yearly supply of stationary, monetary assistance and also encourages its employees to take time out and teach the students too.

They also promote education for the physically challenged children and assure them that they are normal like everyone and have the right to education. JEP has taken up the cause of education the children who need it the most and show them the right career path.

Apart from providing education the group also participates and sponsors in events of Jamaica Cancer Society and the Heart Foundation. It also supports the annual Sigma Corporate Run.

JEP is an example of a company which not only does monetary charity but believes in other ways of charities too. They company head feels just by providing financial aid the responsibility does not end people need to take out time and themselves support the cause they take up only then the charity gets complete.
